DEATH RAILWAY BRIDGE

The Bridge Over the River Kwai was established by Japanese Army which the labour builted the bridge as Allied prisoners of war labour as part of the " Death Railway Bridge" for accorssing from Myanma to Thailand. The bridge was aimed to accross the bridge from the north of Kanchanaburi town to over the Kwai Yai River

CHUNG KAI WAR CEMETERY

Chung Kai War Cemetery located the 2 km of the south of town on the bank of the Kwai Noi River. The Chong Kai POWs camp is about 1,750 POW.

WAT THAM MONGKHON THONG

Wat Tham Mongkhon Thong located 4 km from town on the bank of the Kwai Noi River, which it have a floating nun in a deep pool. Moreover, you can see the small museum of variety of ancient in the area.

PRASAT MUANG SINGH HISTORICAL PARK

Prasat Muang Sing located about 43 km from Kanchanaburi and around 8 km from the Ban Kao Museum on Highway 323. Parasat Muang Sing was situated on the ruins of a 16-18th century castle.
