Chiang Rai is the top province of Thailand near the Burma and Laos. Chiang Rai was found by King Mangrai in 1262. Chiang Rai is the center of small group of refugee village which they move from Burma and South of China.

MONUMENT TO KING MANGRAI THE GREAT

This is important statue in Chian Rai which is King Mangrai the Great, who was established the Chiang Rai. This statue situated at the road to Mae Sai an Mae Chan.

HILLTRIBE EDUCATION CENTRE

This palce will collect the more information of the various tribes' clothing and handicraft of hilltribes. We commend you to visit there for study the group of hilltribe at Chiang Rai or Mae Hong Son before you will meet them. Hilltribe Education Center is located on Thanalai Road.

MAE SAI

Mae Sai is one for the trading area between Thai and Burmese about convenient products and fruit. Which here you will find the many small shop belong the road and market.

THAM  LUANG (GREAT CAVE)

Tham Luang located 6 km from south of Mae Sai which the attraction of the cave is huge and stalactites and lound echoes. You can hire the local guide to speaking English for travel in side the cave.

DOI  TUNG

DoI Tung is one of the nice place to visit for sighseeing the top view of mountain. Which you can get the mini-bus (Songtheaw) from Mae Sai to the Baan Huay Khrai and to Doi Tung. You can see the nice mountain views from the road. The hilltribes villave setup the trading area for sales the handicraft products of Akha and Lisu hilltribes.

CHIANG KHONG

Chiang Khong is the border pass for across to Huay Xai in Laos. Which you see the international river Maekong River.

BAN HAT KHRAI

Ban Hat Khrai is small village near the Laos. The famous of Ban Hat Khrai is the largest fresh water catfish in the world the villager called "Pra Buk"

CHIANG SAEN

The King Mengrai Chiang send one of the son "Saen Pu" to stay at Chiang Sean and create the walled city for protect the Mekong River. Here is the nice place for sight seeing by motorcycle.

WAT PHRA THAT PA NGAO

Wat Phra That Pa Ngao is located the south of the City. Which it is good place for study the Thai Arts and culture of Lanna.

BUNG CHIANG SAEN

About 7 km out of town this lakes is a very quiet and relaxing spot where it is easy to kick back and escape the hectic life of travelling for a few hours. The turn-off for the lake is 5 km out of  Chiang Saen at the 27 km marker an the road leads off for another  2 km before reaching the lake.

SOP RUAK (GOLDEN TRIANGLE)

In the past, The Golden Triangle is the trading area of illegal of drag and other because the area connection of three countries as Thailand, Burma and western of Laos.
