KING TAKSIN THE GREATE SHRINE

LAN SANG NATIONAL PARK

Lan Sang National Park is nice place to visit if you like the adventure life and nature as waterfall, various plants and flowers. The attraction in the park is the large waterfall as Lan Sang Waterfall, Pha Phung Waterfall and Lan Liang Ma Waterfall. This place you can booking the bungalow near the waterfall the cost about 600 Baht. The travelers need to pay the entrance fee 10 Baht.

WAT PHRA BOROMTHAT AND ANCIENT TAK CITY

This area had been used as the former site of Tak City. Which you can find the ruins in this area as beautiful hilltop pagoda was established by King Ramkhamhaeng of Sukhothai (reign : 1275 - 1317); then he commemorated in single combat on elephant back against King Khun Sam Chon as the rule of Muang Shot.

This center located of Hill Tribe Self-Hel Settlement on the Muser Mountain area. This area has the hill tribes as Lahu, Lisu and Meo villages. If you have free time; this place is good for study the Hill Tribe life and culture.

TAKSIN MAHARAT NATIONAL PARK

Taksin Natioinal Park is old name " Krabak Yai National Park " which Krabak Yai is meaning the name of Large Tree. The Park has area 149 sqkm which the surrounding of the park is steep mountains, hills and waterfall.

UMPHANG

Umphang located 249 km. from the City which the Umphang is near the Burmese border in the south of Tak Province. This place in part was the local village of the Kaleang (Burmese) then the Thais people expland the area to create the house village on this area and merge as Thailand areas. The old people called " Umpha " meaning is Immigration Area.

MEI BORDER MARKET

Mei Market is the popular place for the travelers to buy the handicraft products and jade, ruby and souvenir from Burmese. The travelers need to exchange the money at the boder pass of Burma which the gate open every day on 08:00 - 17:00 p.m.

WAT THAI WATTANA (WAT THAI YAI)

Wat Thai Wattana was built in 1867 AD. by Burmese village in Mae Sot which the decoration of temple is copy from famous Temple in Burma. The attraction place is the Image Buddha called "Pra Maha Munee" which it was copy from Mandalay, Burma and many style of the image Buddha.
