SAFETY PHILOSOPHY
	"The Peak" as an outdoor adventure company must also be a safety company. our policy is and always will be "safety above all else". We do not use standards set for other countries. Thailand is unique, and its topography and seasonal conditions offer there own challenges and dictate our standards to optimize your safety. Our staff, be they guides, rescue or instructors have been with us for years and have been recruited from the villages where our activities occur. They are generationaly - intimite with the rivers, mountains and jungles of their home
TEAM
	"THE PEAK" Team is industry recognized as leaders in their field of ongoing river safety and proactive risk management. Our training and refresher courses in CPR, First AID, and Water rescue are ongoing and ingrained.
EQUIPMENT
	Our Safety equipment is of international standards and are inspected and tested as required. Our life jackets are rated & issued in tandum with wearers weight. Helmets, paddles, rafts, ropes and rigging, be they NFPA, ASTM, or Mnf'r rated are continuously inspected

	Maetang River runs north of Chiangmai and offers the full spectrum of emotion. The journey begins at the narrow point of the river with level 4 & 5 white-knuckled, wide-eyes, tumultuous rapids. This river and its canyons offer a truly adrenaline pumping rush down the rapids. Our safety staff are from the rever villages and are intimate with its character. They are all trained in safety & rescue procedure from both raft and shore
	Our team is with you both on & off shore, as the river parallels the road. In our 10 years in business we have been without a safety incident. This is not luck, but a passionate commitment to our safety philosophy. Your responsibility is to have as much fun, excitement & adrenaline rush as possible... 8.30 am.	We pick you up at your hotel/GH.
	On the route to Maetang, We experience an hour of elephant trek thru our rainforests. Lunch/outfitting & indoctrination. Raft run of level 4+ thru 10 km of breathtaking white water
6.00 pm.	Return to your hotel/GH.
